Organic Cost Share Application for Non-MDA certified operations

MDA administers cost share reimbursement from USDA for costs associated with organic certification. Operations located in Maryland that are not certified by MDA may apply for cost share reimbursement by completing this form annually. Cost share applications for organic certification costs incurred between October 1 and September 30 of the following year must be submitted to MDA by November 1. View Details

Organic Exempt Producer Registration

Producers in Maryland with gross agricultural income from organic sales of $5,000 or less annually and operate in accordance with National Organic Program regulations are eligible for listing on MDA’s Organic Exempt Registration Program. Organic Livestock Application

Producers interested in becoming certified organic for livestock production must complete the Livestock Application Packet and the Crop and Pasture Application Packet (livestock must have access to certified organic pasture) to apply for certification. View Details
