USDA GAP Audit Participation Agreement

General Info - Statewide Registration


MDA has a cooperative agreement with USDA to conduct audits of fruits and vegetables in compliance with USDA’s Good Agricultural Practices and Good Handling Practices standards and the Pre Harvest and Post Harvest Harmonized standards. Applicants who participate in an USDA GAP audit must complete a participation agreement before they can have an audit. This is an USDA form, and producers must complete this exact form.

No cost associated with submitting the Audit Participation Agreement. But there will be a fee for USDA GAP audit. It is $150/hour, including travel time.
