Crab Harvester License (CB3)
General Info - Statewide License
Maryland license which allows the use of up to 300 crab pots, and an unlimited amount of trotlines, nets, dip nets, traps, pounds and scrapes to harvest crabs for sale
Requires the purchase of a harvester registration surcharge and a seafood marketing surcharge. Price varies based on state of residency. Maryland residents pay the minimum fee.
This is a waitlist application. As licenses become available, the individual at the top of the list will be contacted by a department representative and instructed to pick up their license Due to the limited number of these licenses, it is not possible to know what the wait time is to receive a license. However, an applicant may apply to be placed on the wait list for this license at any time.
