Purpose

Why the Registration is required?

The Commission of Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Management Companies, and Home Inspectors licenses and  regulates appraisal management companies pursuant to the provisions of Business Occupations and Professions Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, Title 16 and Code of Maryland Regulations, Title 19, Subtitle 39.  The Commission investigates complaints against appraisal management companies and if warranted, may impose an administrative sanction upon a license holder.
