General Info - Statewide Permit
Any operation/equipment that discharges emissions to the outside air needs an air quality permit to construct from the State of Maryland. Examples of such operations include the following: Coating and painting operations, asphalt plants, incinerators, quarry operations, paint spray booths, chemical-processing equipment, fuel-burning equipment, and printing presses.
