Soybean Field Certification Application

Application for soybean field inspection and certification.

Use this form to request soybean field inspection. Inspections conducted by Maryland Department of Agriculture staff.

Cost: $1.75 per acre of fields inspected

Create Account
Click the Register button in the upper right hand corner of the page to create a Maryland OneStop account. The email you use to register your account is where all notifications concerning applications you submit via the OneStop portal will be sent.

You may change the email address associated with your account at any time. Click the dropdown menu next to your name in the upper right hand corner of the page and navigate to Account Settings to update your OneStop account information.
Log In and Apply
Log into your Maryland OneStop account and click Apply Now.
Submit All Applications
Fill out a separate application for each seed variety.
View Application
Go to the My Dashboard tab in your OneStop account to view the status of your application.

Application
An applicant must complete all required fields in this application to be assigned a field inspection.
Application Reviewed
Turf and Seed staff will review your application for completeness. This will take 1-7 business days. Field inspections will not occur until an application has been approved.
Field Inspection
A field inspector will inspect your fields once your application has been approved and submit a field inspection report. An email will be sent to the email address associated with your OneStop account You will be able to download your field inspection report in OneStop by going to My Dashboard and selecting your application.
Field Re-Inspection
If a field inspector determines that another inspection is needed, your fields will be reinspected. Once the additional re-inspection has been completed another field inspection report will be submitted. You will be able to download your field inspection report in OneStop by going to My Dashboard and selecting your application.
Field Inspection Invoice
On the application you may specify whether the grower of the seed or the conditioner of the seed should be billed for the field inspections. Once all fields have been inspected you will receive an invoice. The cost is $1.75 per acre for all fields inspected.
