The Turf and Seed Section conducts regulatory and service programs, including seed inspection, testing, certification and quality control services, designed to insure the continued availability of high quality seed to Maryland's seed consumers.

Review the steps - read carefully

  1. Create a Maryland OneStop Account

    If you do not have a Maryland OneStop account click Register in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Enter your first name, last name, email address, and create a password, then click Register.

  2. Verify Your Maryland OneStop Account Email

    Once you have submitted your information to create an account you will receive an email from onestop.support@maryland.gov. Click the "Verify Your Email" button in the email.

  3. Complete the Form

    Log in using the email and password you created and click the Apply Online button to submit a Service Testing Request Form.

What Happens After Submission

Read carefully

  1. Individual Submits Request Form and Mails Sample

    Individual fills in form and mails the sample to the Maryland Department of Agriculture.

  2. Turf and Seed Reviews Request Form

    If any revisions are required, the Turf and Seed office will send comments to the individual. The individual then updates the application and resubmits to Turf and Seed.

  3. Request is Approved by Turf and Seed.

    The request is approved and the samples will be tested once they arrive at the Maryland Department of Agriculture.
