Maryland law requires you to hold one of the following licenses to advertise, sell, distribute, install or produce nursery stock. Apply if you are a nursery seeking an inspection certificate. Plant dealers and plant brokers can apply to receive a license by completing this form. If approved, your Nursery Inspection Certificate or Plant Dealer/Broker license will be issued yearly from January 1 to December 31.

Review the steps - read carefully

  1. Create a Maryland OneStop Account

    If you do not have a Maryland OneStop account click Register in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Enter your first name, last name, email address, and create a password, then click Register.

  2. Verify Your Maryland OneStop Account Email

    Once you have submitted your information to create an account you will receive an email from [email protected]. Click the "Verify Your Email" button in the email.

  3. Complete the Application

    Log in using the email and password you created and click the Apply Now button to submit an application for your license.

  4. Mail Your Payment

    Once you complete your application, be sure to print your invoice and mail your payment to:

    Baltimore, MD 21297-1304

  5. Notification

    You will be notified through OneStop of the status and next steps of your license application.
