MSDE Training Voucher
Training Vouchers are designed to assist child care professionals participating in the Maryland Child Care Credential Program at Level Two or higher with the costs of training for professional development.
An application for a training voucher can be submitted for:
- Pre-Service training
- Registration at statewide and national child care conferences
- Approved early childhood college coursework
Child care providers participating in the Credential Program at level two or higher are eligible to receive up to $400 each year for training a voucher or reimbursement as long as funds are available. Requests must not exceed $400.
The following are not eligible for training voucher:
- Training that has not been approved by MSDE according to COMAR 13A.14.09
- Fees incurred for training
- Association membership fees
- CDA credential/ CDA renewal fees

OneStop Platform Instructions
When setting up your account, please do not enter a temporary email address such as a workplace or college email. MSDE would like permanent addresses for awarding training vouchers and for all future correspondence from us.
Complete all information in the spaces provided. Please note: Your CCATS/Party ID# can be located on the bottom right-hand corner of your credential certificate.
All applications must be accompanied by required documentation. Incomplete applications will not be processed. The following documents are required to be uploaded and submitted with your training voucher application.
I. Conference/Pre-Service Training advertisement
The information must include:
Date of conference/Pre-Service training
Cost of conference/Pre-Service training
Training organization’s name and if applicable,
OCC assigned approval number

By signing the application, you are affirming that the information provided within the application, including attachments, is true and accurate. I understand that any false statement on this application will result in the application being rejected. I further understand that if I receive a training voucher I will:
Attend the Conference/Pre-Service training named on the voucher;
Submit documentation of successful completion to the Office of Child Care upon successful completion of the training;
Be required to repay the amount of the voucher if I do not successfully complete the training for which it was issued; and
No longer be eligible for training vouchers if I do not successfully complete the training for which it was issued.

What Happens After Submission
MSDE will review your application.
MSDE will approve or deny the submitted application. An incomplete application will be returned to your OneStop account.
Applicants are notified of approval or denial in their OneStop account.
After the training is completed, you must upload documentation of successful completion to the OneStop account.
