Security System Agency License
Maryland license issued to a security systems agency, which is an individual or firm licensed to conduct a business that provides security systems services.
Security systems services include providing on a person's residence or commercial property the service of three things:
1. surveying the property for purposes of installing a security system,
2. physically installing, maintaining, or repairing a security system, or
3. responding to a distress call or an alarm sounding from a security system.

Steps, requirements and documents
Must hold a current business license.
Complete and submit an Application for Tax Verification through the Maryland Comptroller's Office. Attach a completed of the tax verification form with your application.
Submit Articles of Incorporation or Articles of Formation for LLC
Must have at least $50,000 of General Liability Insurance.
All original applications require FBI and CJIS fingerprint submissions.
Applicants must submit two (2) color passport type photographs of the applicant.

Submit a renewal application 90 days prior to expiration.
